I grabbed an '08 and couldn’t get through a glass. Tasted like a weird mocha alcohol milkshake. It tasted unlike an other cab I’ve had. Not interested in trying again.
Have had all three wines in a relatively small amount of time…maybe all within a rolling month. 2007 is obviously a wine built for my palate as I have sung its praises since day one of tasting some. 2008 is exactly what Jeb described, and I won’t be bothered to get any more. 2009, IMO, with a little bottle age should be as good or better than the '07. Around here it is $18 before any case discount is applied. A no brainer to have on hand as a house wine.
