We have a reservation at EME for Thursday night, when the daytime high is forecast to be 36°C (96°F). Do you recall if the restaurant is air conditioned?

I saw elsewhere it was though when we were there the front door was open so may have not been running. But it was pleasant in the restaurant (and I would say better than other places we went to that week but we were at 27 degrees rather than 36!)
When do reservations open for September? Is it 30 days in advance or start of August?
No idea. I just keep checking the website.
Maybe email the restaurant for guidance?
Not that worried. Their books will open eventually and I’ll see it.

We were supposed to go this week so I asked and they said they have a/c. (Didn’t end up going for unrelated reasons).
Some very brief notes so far.
Legrand - wine list as expected, very good A/C, and the food was excellent.
Au Coin de Gourmets - little Vietnamese spot near rue Cambon (for those who make the obligatory stop for the Mrs…). A/C. Very yummy food a nice break from French.
Plenitude - wow wow wow. Best meal of my life? Wine list mostly overpriced (Selosse was 3x Legrand) but a 2020 Lamy Caillat Bourgogne for 120e was a no brainer choice and possibly the best drinking white of the trip. Only 10 tables and I gather some are reserved for hotel guests.

Legrand’s AC always makes me feel like I am back in America. Best place to open a prieure roch in paris…

Answering my own question … Yes, EME is air conditioned and it seemed to function very well at the high temps we were encountering.
Other questions … bookings are available 30 days in advance.
This past Thursday only 4 2-tops were occupied the entire evening. The restaurant said July is normally slow and August is even worse. Reservations are typically available a day or two in advance during this time, Things usually start to pick up in September but even then, one shouldn’t have to set an alarm to book a table.

FYI Amex platinum has 50e back if you spend 300e at duty free in France. Of course I just noticed this on the plane coming home! Not much selection in CDG 2E - L but can pick up some DP17 or DP rose 2009 for a few bucks less than in the US and then save 50 on top.

Ok, the Nocturnes Exceptionelle @ Fondation LV for the 100 year Calder (pass/notice re same above is this thread) was sublime. Super. Foodwise, everything (of course, here/as Fond LV) was fait-main and looked incredible (& was cheap as all get out), but we had 10pm dinner resos, so we actually used will power. Drinks-wise, champagne & cocktails looked great, but they were also pouring Parisian craft-beer on tap, so went for that given the incredible terrasses for the soiree. Very nice. Crowdwise, as happens so often @ the right spots for Parisians, the Parisians were super engaged & interesting. A great night!
Otherwise, (as also mentioned in my notice-post above), the swim-spots in the Seine have been incredible. In fact, it’s very clear a new Parisian habit is born. I’ve now been 5 times, and you see the same Parisians over & over again, lapping it up & loving it. (As did I.). Foodwise, b/c its Paris & they’re FR (natch), they had fresh fruit & fresh juice in abundance (& of course no changing cabines.) (You’ve got to love it.) (I was @ the one in the 4th facing Ile Saint Louis.)
The water is warm and wonderful. You can swim laps, certainly in the mornings. No lines at least at this one until the afternoon. The scene is chill & great. In fact, with everyone towel-changing right there, and then the walk back through Paris by the water/the Paris plage w/ your beach towel over your shoulder or around your waist, it brought back serious SoCal beach vibes (in Paris of all things!) from my former pro beach volleyball tourney days. Super! (And if you’re looking for post-swimming libations, w/ Parisians no less, the always-fun/chill Peniche Marcounet is just one guignette down/50 meters from the swim spot!)
(OK - a bunch of the pictures from the swimming, etc., have a dark filter/cover on them & I have no idea why! Sorry. It certainly was bright & sunny!)

Inspired by Paris by Mouth to return again to Semilla despite my last meal in 2024 there being sort of meh.
Food was excellent this time, loved the smoked eggplant ravioli and amberjack crudo especially. Homemade ice cream for dessert was A+ as well. List always has good stuff though we just went for BTG. Easy reservation, decent A/C, and open every day.
Last lunch was Au Pied de Cochon after the fog installation at Bourse de Commerce. Food was good enough and they have A/C upstairs. Wanted to check out Willis but no A/C….next time!

Good to hear re. Semilla, a long time favorite as I have said upthread but a dinner in April was just a bit ho-hum. Thanks for the report.
