It is up!!! Eating and Drinking in Montreal - #3 by Robert_Dentice
Now back to NYC. Last evening we went to Zoli, a restaurant that has been on our radar for a minute. It is in a stunning art complex in East Williamsburg. Excellent design and sound system. Large incredibly ambitious menu put together by a group of Chef’s who all have experience at top restaurants. We loved the overall experience and will definitely go back. The ambitiousness of the menu results in some stunningly innovative dishes (e.g. Sea Clam, Mango, or Okra skewer) that work well and some that just barely miss. I think if they tighten up the menu it will be even better. This might sound like we did not like it we absolutely did. The analogy I used was that it is like a new band that has 2 excellent songs that blow your mind but the rest of the album is them trying to a bunch of different genres to find their sound.
