Just pulled the corks on a 1993 Ridge Lytton Springs and a 1993 Ridge Geyserville. Both drinking very nicely out of the bottle, and it’s too early to say which I prefer. In addition, I’ve opened a 1992 Storybook Mountain Estate Zin , but it’s possible that the wine is mildly corked, so we’ll have to monitor that. At any rate, Happy Thanksgiving, everyone

Very cool Bob! The 93 Ridge Jimsomare is one of the better Ridge wines I’ve had. Enjoy!
Enjoy, Bob! Happy thanksgiving…
I popped a '95 Lytton Springs not too long ago and it was still young and energetic. Great choice for T-day, enjoy!
Popped a 1993 Geyserville tonight. I know Ridge Zins age well but this wine seems ridiculously young. Maybe the most youthful of the 90s Geysers or maybe just this bottle. This sucker will go another 10 maybe 20 years. It’s interesting that most bottles have some aging potential notation on the bottle in terms of years. This one says, “potential for extended aging”. I can’t remember reading that on any other labels.
Glad the 93 Geezer is still going strong… the 93 Lytton Springs needs to be consumed sooner than later, at least my bottles.
93 Ridge Maple has consistently wowed me.
Drinking another '93 Geyser tonight. I acquired quite a few bottles recently and am very happy I was able to do so. The corks haven’t been good (luckily I have a Durand) but the bottles are great. This wine is so big and so young it’s almost unbelievable.
We had another for the first time in a year or longer. Tonight it was just a good drink, nothing more. 1990 remains my favorite Geezer of that decade but prior bottles of the 93 have been better than this one.
