Body: medium to full

Taste: very good-complex

Aftertaste: medium

18+/20

I only bought two bottles-Darn.

The Clos Vougeot was the least interesting of the 05’s.(a great year for Clos Vougeot)

We visited the winery for lunch on a trip this September to Burgundy and had 375s of the 2009 Bonnes Mares and GC Clos de Beze with our meal. Both wines were very, very appealing.

I agree both of those wines are very fine.

Haven’t noticed this producers’ wines on offer in the DC area, but I’ll be looking for them in the future.

I think they have made a lot of recent improvements overall. David Bowler represents them in NY and the whole portfolio is pretty solid.

I’m glad for the improvement. Forty years ago I was lucky to have the 1966 Chambertin

-via label(Beze I think) 5-6 times. The best Burgundy I’ve ever had.
