Late last year, in a different lifetime, I opened an 03 Prince Florent de Merode Corton-Clos du Roi. I wasn’t sure what to expect, cuz I it was a sole bottle in a mixed case I bought at auction. An excellent+ wine, no unpleasant 03 qualities, a pretty & complex wine in fact, with plenty of life left.
