I like the road trip idea. I had to look at how far it is. I’ve always operated on the rule of thumb that Texas is an all-day drive. It seems tractable without stimulants.

Dallas to San Antonio, so not a full day drive.
Folks have convinced me not to try it.
Did find a bottle of Opus One for way under market that should be ready to drink.
Bill, if you are coming down to SA I’m sure we can find a similarly priced bottle in SA or Austin from a more drinkable vintage.
in SA check out Silo Prime. I haven’t been in over a year but they used to have some DRC at sorta reasonable prices. (list not online)
I’m coming down in September for sure to go to the Iron Maiden concert with my daughter who is in CC for a year. Will most likely be staying on the River Walk.
