Please don’t KILL me…I have never had a wine from DRC…well, I take that back…before I was really “into” Burgundy, and Pinot Noir for that matter…a buddy had a bday party, catered by a taco truck…and cracked open a 1997 LaTache…didn’t really go well with the spicy Mexican fare!
I need a bottle to try…I REALLY want to experience DRC, but can’t afford to shell out the big duckets right now. I can get the 1er in the $350 range, but am wondering if I should spend more for the GC, to get the full effect?
Anyway…after a couple four glasses of cheap red and white burgs… I thought I’d just shoot this out to the very GENEROUS fine wine community here…and see if anyone can throw me a Beaune on the cheap??? I will always name you as the one who pushed me over the edge into the insanity of great burgundy!!
