I usually get one bottle from good vintage possible - as it saves me money, time & space that I can use for other things.
Sure, it can be corked so I could end up with one corked bottle only. But isn’t that an inevitable risk for every bottle? It’s unlikely but having 2 consecutive corked bottles is not impossible too.

Sure you could have 2 corked. But I wasn’t thinking 1 vs 2. I was thinking buying at least 4-6 of anything worth cellaring. Having tried the former, that’s my current strategy.
