Domaine Les Grands Bois, 2007 Cuvee Gabrielle

Another killer CdR in the line up of Domaine Les Grand Bois’s 07’ cuvee series.

More red fruited on the nose with big, up front kirsch, fresh raspberry and white pepper accents.
Medium to full bodied, the precise cherry liquer/raspberry flavors are complimented by herby underbrush, pepper, and a clean, higher toned finish than the Max, Marc, or TS. I’d guess there is a higher percentage of Grenache than the other boys. It has a structured, Carignane kind of finish with nice polish and length. This wine is drinking very nicely right now and will most likely, gain in depth and complexity over the next five years, at least. One more, buy a case or two if you can find it kind of wines, especially at $16.
