I bought a bottle of the ‘90 Goutte D’Or a few weeks ago at auction and am looking forward to it. I had a couple strong experiences with this wine and a couple others from this grower, courtesy of other folks, a couple years ago.

Regarding the connection to Coche-Dury: you need to go up 2 generations.
The Coche family had 8 sons, the two eldest received vineyards that became the current Domaine Coche-Dury and Domaine Roulot (Jean-Marc’s mother was a Coche), the third (Fabien Coche’s grandfather) decided to become a cooper and after a few years started acquiring vineyards of his own.
