Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux Echezeaux

If one likes to find those wines next door to Grand Crus, it might be one to seek out: Terroir Insight: Domaine Grivot, Vosne-Romanee Aux Reignots

I’ve not had the Reignots, but prefer the Latricieres and sometimes the Echezeaux to the Suchots - which is just fine, more of that for the rest of you .

Not sure if all is correct on winehogs map:
The parcel No.6 is - according to Meadows - actually Petits Monts, not Aux Reignots!
The DRC parcel is leased to Liger-Belair … and why Arnoux-L. should have only 0.18 ha … I don´t know.
All compared to Meadows “Pearl”-book, the 0.22 ha confirmed by Matt Kramer.

Unsure where the info comes from, but Weinlagen suggests Reignots extends to the trees. Weinlagen

Hopefully the piece A-L owns really does abut La Romanee, which is the part of the map I hope is accurate. [cheers.gif]

Charles Lachaux has been replanting a portion of the Aux Reignots vineyard that was previously occupied by an almond tree. This patch has been replanted at an incredibly high density of 25 000 plants per hectare, with each vine on a wooden stake.
