Do light sweet red wines exist?

It isn’t sweet, but Tercero’s Aberration wine is best served chilled and very refreshing. Beautiful fruit. In the Houston summer heat, it’s one of the few reds I enjoy.

From Larry:

“The latest release of my aberrations, the 2019 is probably my most ‘fruit forward’ initially. It’s a blend of 60% Cinsault and 40% Grenache. Both varieties were foot stomped by Larry, fermented with their stems, pressed and then aged in Stainless Steel. I prefer to serve this chilled - it is a very ‘crushable’ wine . . .”

Thanks my friend - and still have a small supply of that 2019 still available - and it’s still rocking

I just assumed the terminology was restricted the wines from Valpolicella.

It is, that’s why I had put “appassimento” in quotes. Basically only Amarones, Reciotos and the likes are true appassimento wines in Valpolicella and are allowed to use the term; the rest are just “appassimentos”.
