I want to say it was the North Star Diner up in Greenwood. I have not been in recent years but its still in business and the Shanghai Room is open on the weekends for your late night food needs.
If you’re that far north and feeling like doing some karaoke another stop should be The Rickshaw.

Didn’t the Rickshaw burn down? It’s been 20 ish years since I was last there.
There was a fire there back in 2012 but it wasn’t a total loss. Can confirm they’re back open as I have friends that live nearby and we’ll end up there on some evening beverage walkabouts.

not according to a definition above, but it’s what i think of
a friend worked there years ago and said the monday morning shift was the best because that’s when all the local club workers started their weekends…
One that is nicer than I was originally envisioning but still bare bones is Toronado in SF
Elliot’s (since 1907) in Danville, CA, and The 2 AM Club (the Deuce) in Mill Valley, CA. Huey Lewis’ album cover for Sports was shot at the Deuce.
The Mina Club.
The main road to the Mina Club…
The view from the club looking out at town…
The juke box…
