Hey Hardy, wasn’t aware of that particular suit, didn’t catch the thread. I thought as long as shipping was a separate line item in Illinois you don’t have to charge tax on the shipping. And I think bottom line that is the correct, or at least intended, interpretation. Reading deeper now into the legalese, and I’m no lawyer, I’d take your stance and be on the safe side. That is crazy.
So now that I blew my chances for a bottle of chardonnay I voted for that t-shirt. If you can’t drink it, wear it…ha!
Chard and Skinner will be tough, but we really hope to get some around. We try not to over allocate and we don’t require people to take their full offer.
Of the 600ish produced, we only released 240 750ML bottles of Chard. We bottled 15 cases in 1.5L (sold as futures in Dec.), pulled the first few and last few cases off, keep a library, and a couple for dinners / events.
Quick question on the shirt sizes, do you know if the L t-shirts more like a Target L or an H&M L? Yeah, odd question that might be hard to answer…just wanna make sure I get the best fitting size when they’re released.
Not Hardy, but if they are using the same shirts as the past, which are about softest thing ever, the shirts run on the slimmer side. They aren’t big and boxy.
My order is in, and I left a few on the table for you wish-listers. I love the option to delay shipping to consolidate with future orders. I have nowhere to put these right now anyway.
I’m in the same boat–noticed that the next allocation is coming out in mid Spring and thought 6 now and 6 then makes a great first half of the year order.
You’ll have to share if I don’t get either bottle I wish-listed! I’m super curious about the Skinner, but that seems rather hard to come by judging by people’s comments.
For all those waiting for wish list requests, I’m trucking away all day today and probably into late tomorrow filling what we can. It is a manual process and takes 2 days or so to finish. We are trying to get wine to as many people as possible. Thank you!
