Made my first order. Had a few Mourvedres in restaurants, so looking forward to trying some different ones.
Picked up six: two each of the Chenin, Zin, and Syrah. Would have liked more but I’ve been on a buying binge lately. I’m particularly excited about the Chenin. I’ve liked every D&R white I’ve ever opened.
In for an Autumn Pack, and 3 Legends! Can’t wait to try these.
Popped a Chenin over the weekend, it was fantastic. Then, an unexpected envelope with a Napa postmark appeared on my porch this morning. Dirty & Rowdy masks?! We’ll definitely be sporting those.

I can’t recall if these face masks were included in every order (or in orders over a certain amount). If so, I hope the guys at my storage location received and enjoy them!
I wonder if the masks were for those who ordered the “Wear a mask” red? In any event, what a nice gesture!
FWIW, I had my wines shipped to my offsite and the envelope with the masks was sent to my home address (maybe from the billing address?) so you may still get them at your home. Didnt order the wear a mask red. Maybe for orders of 12+ bottles?

We included 2 masks (small / medium and lg/xl) for all orders of a case or more. Unless requested, they went to the shipping address used for the wines.
We just got another shipment of them in and we will be putting them up on the website by the weekend.
New to D&R -
Considering a holiday 3 pack for both my father and father-in-law. Is this a good selection to get them (and me) acquainted with D&R? I would likely be around when the bottles are opened.

Yes, you can’t go wrong, but I would really try to get the 6 pack. The outer limits and ENZ are amazing and really represent D&R in my opinion.
James- Happy to answer any questions about the wines or selections. The 3 pack wines are fresh & lighter bodied wines perfect for Thanksgiving (even this particular old vine petite). The 6 pack has more of our 2018 vineyard designates – there are some ringers in that one (2018 Shake Ridge is my personal fav).

just wanna say that I opened a “Wear it!” the first day it got here and that wine is delicious. so glad its not my only bottle!
Just opened my first bottle of the Zin and WOW that is some acid=packed=punch. Some intense floral notes on the nose, not-quite-ripe red plum, some savory herbs in the background. The acidity is bright and deep and lasts for days. So much going on here. I would never guess zin (well, I haven’t bought one in literally the past 10 years, so not many recent reference points), but it’s identifiably D&R.

Thanks Brad! The 19 Zin is a lot of fun- Sparkling wine levels of acid and such a wild bouquet. I’m psyched to add this vineyard into our rotation.
