Another magnificent looking/sounding meal, Michael. But… how did all of that pepper on the venison pair with the Burgundy?

NOT GOOD…It wouldn’t have been my choice…This “event” has happened in the past and basically we send the chef a copy of the wines that we are going to be bringing and then he prepares the meal accordingly.

I’m so jealous of your meals and trips! I was just saying to someone that I think I’m going to repeat my trip to Atlanta this Spring. So many yummy places to eat and great people.

Were those little sweet potato gnocchi good? They look delish. And hey-- where’s dessert?

Melissa,
Badly.
This was my least favorite dish and a disaster pairing for the Burgundies.
Some fantastic wines and some very good dishes.
Michael.
Thanks for posting this.
Don

They were very good…a touch salty.

No pics of the dessert…I should have have mentioned that there was 8 people at dinner…so, I was full on wine. The dessert was great…might have to go back just for that.

Recession? What recession?

My jealousy over this meal knows no bounds…

Yeah the venison course was my least favorite as well. The wines were excellent. Great time.

Hey, Liotta…

Too bad you can’t recreate the “magic” for everyone.

Oh…but I can.

Man I love Aria. Thanks for the notes. Sounds like another great dinner by the ATL crew.
