If you like Syrah better just be happy. Can’t say I like Syrah at any age as it disagrees with my palate.
I love cab and don’t mind tannins in young wines. But a well aged cab is a glorious thing to taste and smell. Wait 10 years and some of those '13 cabs will deliver in spades.
Hey Alan, maybe a Cali Cab that’s still fruity at 10+ years of bottle age would be something for you to try instead of Bordeaux.
