Tonight’s dessert (after catfish & broccoli) was Ciao Bella Gelatos, chocolate and vanilla, with Vanilla, Chocolate-Hazelnut, and Dark Chocolate Piroulines, with two liqueurs - Coquila - a creamy, chocolate, coffee, and tequila blend; and Patrón XO Café - coffee liqueur made with tequila. Both were nice with the Gelatos, but the Coquila was a bit light; and the Patrón was just right.
Last night (after Coho salmon) we had a reprise of our Gelato dessert, Ciao Bella Vanilla and Chocolate with piroulines and the two tequila liqueurs. Tonight both liqueurs were enjoyable; the gelati and piroulines were good as usual. The only difference between the two nights was - Carollee had caramel sauce on hers and I had hazelnut syrup on mine. I don’t care for the combination of caramel and chocolate.
Caramel and chocolate equals all KINDS of win, Dick.
