Am out next month on biz and if i am not holed up watching the Nats in post season baseball will have an evening for a meal. So any recs?
Thanks - I see that Baru 66 specifically allows corkage - not that I expect to be opening a bottle, as I’m likely to be by myself and have to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in front of clients the next morning - but it’s a nice feature. It seems like Proof is much closer to my hotel, tho. Both places look quite enticing, thanks.
IIRC Proof didn’t charge me a corkage fee (but it was a 1990 Lagrange).
Yes, Proof is probably walking distance for you. But Des Moines isn’t that big, and you’d have only a 10-15 minute drive to Baru 66.
of course if I can get my baseball team’s game on the tube, I might just order room service!
