My husband refuses to drink out of the Fu glasses I bought over the past Berserker days.
His loss. They really do accentuate Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo.
Fully agree, I like the Fu glass more than I thought I would. If you are looking to accentuate aromatics, this glass works.
I’m going to make him try a Barolo in one. And PN is what we drink most. He calls them clown glasses. Not good. He’ll come around.
I purchased the Gusto Glass and am really pleased with it. I have to say, it looks weird in the picture (the reflections make the wide part of the glass look like the face of a bug) so at first I wasn’t interested but I took a look at the site anyway. After reading the information and asking some questions of JarodG (its creator), I decided to give it a try and am glad I did. If you go to the site, the 3rd picture of the glass, showing it with a cloth background, is a much more accurate depiction.
The glass arrived securely packaged. It’s light, has excellent balance, an elegant feel and a really nice job of glass blowing - symmetrical and flawless. It’s shape and size makes it easy to focus the aromas and taste the wine, though I suppose the small opening might pose some problems if your nose is really big
but for me it works fine. While one might think the smaller size and unusual shape makes it more suitable for critical tasting than looks, it is actually quite attractive.
It does look less strange in that photo.
I don’t think I could get into it. ![]()
Thanks for the kind words! You described my goal for the glass quite well, glad it is working for you!

Not recommended by the manufacturer, but I clean my Josephinenhutt glasses in the dishwasher. 3 years and 1 cross-country move later, they’re just fine.
That’s what I do too, I just scrub them gently then in the dishwasher they go.
