As someone who knows very little about Burgundy, was there a fire that year? I thought it was a great vintage.

Did you taste the 2023s - if so, did you take more detailed noted and how does the current style compare to other winemakers you are familiar with?
Yes tasted the ‘23s but no notes. It was a warmer year, lots of fruit density but goodness if these wines were in my barrel cellar I’d be thrilled.

Bachelet Gevrey-Chambertin 2018. Lovely wine - bit more dark fruited, but acidity keeps it fresh. One of the better 2018s I have.
