Looking for suggestions. I do not need every bell and whistle, It would be used 3 or 4 times per month. Mostly meat but sometimes bread. 10 inch blade. Not too much hassle to clean.
I’ve been considering this one for a long time, it got good reviews. They have a 10 inch version also.
I have a Berkel Home Line Plus 250 (electric). It’s not the easiest piece of equipment to clean, but it slices like a dream. Check it out on Berkel’s website (theberkelworld.com) under “Electric Slicers.” Wine Enthusiast and Amazon both sell it in the US.
I screwed around with several off-brand slicers, then bought a Berkel. It’s worth the $$ and the cleaning effort, 100x.
