Anyone try one recently? CT notes seem to indicate its fairly approachable.
I usually give my 2008 a double-decant at least 3 hours prior to serving. More time doesn’t hurt. Don’t know about this Rudius bottling specifically, but I have to believe a similar approach would be warranted.
Pour off a glass then have the rest the next day. That is the method Jeff gave me and I thought it worked well. I have also double decanted like Steve said above that worked well.
I have enjoyed both bottles I have had so far.
Had one a few weeks ago. Decanted for about three hours before we got to it. It was good, if not also still tight. It probably would have been better the next day. I have four left and won’t touch another for a few years at least.
