I only got 6 pack of 553. So I don’t break one of those open for a few yrs. So I’ll need to wait 3 yrs to figure out if it’s as bad as 550.
I’ll answer that now. I haven’t tasted it yet, but I can assure you it’s not as bad as 550.
Please forgive this commercial interruption, for a moment of nature.
An awesome annual occurrence here on the first days of summer:
Very friendly Challenge to Boris Bauer

I would love to see you post one/some/many examples of your favorite Magnolias?

OK Scott, I’ll post you magnolia pictures enjoyed by countless number of people and glasses of de Négoce wines consumed during one week’s bloom at the BauHaus (pictures taken by a California visitor). Realize that we have continuous blooms from Feb-May (and then 'Southern small & large leafed magnolias throughout the summer). Yes, we even enticed Wine Berserker Miller and husband from Virginia to sit in our shaded rhododendron area to share a delightful Lot 251 Sonoma Mountain 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon recently.
Boris,
THANK YOU for sharing. Those are beautiful flowering Magnolia trees! You have cultivated a garden oasis of delight.
Easily a visual extravaganza of Triple extra delicate deliciousness!!!
Happy Independence Day tomorrow
i ordered 555 when it was released. came back from a few days away and found a could not deliver stickies on the front door. and now a 3 day weekend. Kinda pissed off that I didn’t get sent a shipment email so i could have arranged to have the wine sent someplace else. this is a first for me, a wine producer shipping wine without any notice. not a company to reorder from in hot weather for me again.
Same… They just shipped my wine to Florida with no email or anything… I’m done. Support has been abysmal.
Did you pay for the summer hold? I feel like we have seen this movie before. Lack of notice when they ship is pretty bad.
Would it be wonderful to have a free summer hold??
I can only dream of a Freehold………………
Hmmmm… I wonder if there is anyone out there offering such a thing.
petit meunier from sonoma carneros? can’t be too many producers regularly bottling still petit meunier, though a quick google mostly pulls napa side wineries.
I guessed Domaine Carneros, but they don’t have a Pinot Meunier. I’m a member, and don’t remember them ever offering that.
Why do I feel like many of the offers this year are $30-50 too much (as opposed to the previous glut).
This PM would be a buy @$150 for me, but I feel like they are testing the limits on us these days.
It has to be Chandon. Their non-member price for the single varietal is $60 and their description is very similar sounding.
Are others having problems with denegociatns database/reviewing webpage fully loading at this time (regardless of browsers used)? Hopefully only a setup problem on my end.
It’s working fine for me.
Anyone buying this Burgundy? Comments?
Nice Burgundy offer. But a pass here.
$56/ bottle for JS90 pt burg. Nuff sed.
