only enforced by the shipper LOL
BOOM! I am good! Who is in?
Have zero room however a shiner is a shiner. In for 6.
So $60 (or less) for $25
Seeing it for $45-50 in many places; consistent 90-pointer on CT. Yawn.

Remind me gang, can I get free shipping on a case order if I get 6-bottles of one wine and 6-bottles of another? Or does the free shipping only apply to solid case orders?
Yes, free shipping on 12. Doesn’t matter what 12.
I’m passing on this 516 shiner as well. I think we were all hoping it was one of their reserve wines, but hard pass on their basic Cab.
Gonna pass, alc too low for me and I need to hold off on new stuff.
I’m also passing. Bought a case of $185 wine for $299 yesterday, don’t need a case of $40 for the same price.
Opened a 518 on Saturday after it sat for a few weeks. Just a wall of tannin right now. The fruit I did taste was good. Based on the color and teeth staining appears some mega purple may have been used. Even after 6 hours in the decanter was still wound too tight. Think I will wait a year before trying another one. Looks promising however.
I missed some discussion…what is this shiner assumed to be?
Thanks!
So I reached out to dN, and they informed me that the hold was auto-lifted Dec 1 - so it must be two cases per calendar month. And now I know how to proceed in the future should the situation arise.
It varies by state. I live in GA and their law is no more than 8 cases per year (dN told me this). Have been shipping in my wife’s name since late summer .
Does anyone here like Petit Verdot as a varietal?
I have NOT had one.
yet?
#517 ???
***BOTTLING MID-DECEMBER, SHIPPING SHORTLY AFTER*** For our final Daily Deal, we’ve saved the rarest of the bunch for last. Petit Verdot holds a special place on Bordeaux’s Left Bank – this rich, intense grape is typically used by winemakers...
I personally love single varietal Petit Verdots. Really inky. I just wish they would start disclosing the % of NEW french oak.
