Damn that Paul Lato!

Drinking the 2011 Seabiscuit Zotovich Pinot Noir. While clearly young, it has superb character and favors. Beautifully fragrant and showing lots of dark fruit and a slight touch of spice. I would love to have a few of Paul’s pinots with some age on them, but I can’t keep my hands off them.

If you haven’t discovered this producer and you like Cali pintos, they are worth the effort to seek out.

I had the 09 Suerte a few weeks back and I’m an instant fan. I picked up some of his Syrahs to try as well, hope they are as good as the Pinot!
