Not tempted. I lack patience in almost every other aspect of my life, but with wine…I can wait.
TBH, I have no issue opening up young wines. For me, a large part of this hobby is following a wine through its various stages - at different ages they have something different to give. Have been drinking plenty of 2017 red burgundy recently, and loving them.
Young, sure! That’s why I buy multiples. Right after it’s delivered? Never.

For me the temptation is always the wines I know little or nothing about. Producers or wines I don’t know often move to the front of the line. So this year trying more wines from varietals like, Morillon, Mencia, Timorasso, Garnatxa Blanca, Freisa, Fumin, & others.
