I thought it might be helpful to pull together a list of wine critics and their palate preferences for us new-ish wine collectors. I know a few now but would love to learn more. Whether they like more bold vs elegant, fruit vs savory, structure vs soft, sweet vs dry or other qualities that are an instant winner.
Exploring new wines or looking at drinking windows I always read reviews. Certainly would be helpful to understand which wines to buy, hold or avoid based on my own palate! Thanks.
A while back there were a series of threads each focused on discussing the style and preferences of various wine critics. Below are the ones for James Suckling and Allen Meadows, as they were the first ones I found when searching, but there should be a thread for pretty much all major wine critics if I recall correctly
