We tasted 13 wines , in different flights . Overall , rather average wines with a couple of nice ones ( Henri Boillot ! ) and some disappointments .

-
difficult nose , over-extraction , very dark , not good 85/100 Bertrand Ambroise NSG Vaucrains 1999 ( to my embarrassment , I had taken this one from my cellar by mistake… it was supposed to be the Corton ) .
-
nice perfumed nose , sweet , long , has more substance 91/100 : Volnay Caillerets Clos des 60 ouvrées Pousse d’Or 2009 !
-
light in color , a fresh nice little wine but misses complexity 89/100 Volnay Clos des Chenes Comte Lafon 2007
-
Sauvage , really good , complex , mushrooms and truffles , nice extract 93/100 Henri Boillot 2007 Volnay Chevrets

-
Bretty , a bit of Henri Bonneau , old style , funky , a bit on its decline , probably good with a game dish . 89/100 Corton Clos du Roi 1999 Lucien le Moine
-
more pinot , fresher , younger , 91/100 Corton Pougets Jadot
-
fresh red fruit , big wine , lot’s of concentration and extract , rich but nice 92/100 Meo Camuzet 1999 Corton Rognets
-
rich old wine , bit brown sugar , fals apart after a while : 88/100 1989 Corton Clos du Roi Thomas Moillard
Overall favorite ( 10 tasters ) : Boillot Volnay Chevrets 2007 , followed by his Volnay Caillerets 2006 and the Meo Camuzet 1999 Corton Rognets .
