These were not with their main BDX and were lumped in with a wide vareity of other stuff they apparently want to move.
I picked up a few of both. Good prices. I also found 2008 Clerc Milon for around $40.
The MSX is a very nice wine and $43 is a great price (!). Modern no doubt but showed very well at UGC.
FYI: The Costco wine guy I talked to this weekend told me that the snowflake in the right corner of both price sheets above mean limited quantity of the wine available- just what is on the floor.
Damson plum, round loam and roasted cedar, yum.
Worth the extra 37 bucks in my books.
Read my notes on the 08 Pontet before buying any. Maybe buy a bottle yourself and see what you think before going back and buying more.
I prefer square loam myself…but, c’est la vie.
Round and square loam . . . so Internationalized. Natural wine fans like me prefer dodecahedral loam
Anyone witness these in the bay area stores?

Lance, haven’t looked. But I bought a few more than I need on prearrival, and would be happy to sell a few at Costco’s price (pretty much my cost after taxes).

Don’t folks worry about storage? Ever been in a Costco warehouse? They are definitely NOT refrigerated or cooled.
Ever been in a store after closing or before opening?
Alan - looking for Malescot specifically. Bought a case of the PC. Let me know.

Nope, sworn off that one. You gotta like oak to appreciate that wine
Saw Cos, Ducru Beaucaillou, and Las Cases today, all just south of $100.

Thanks for the heads up Kris. Those are some pretty good deals.

While its decidedly modern, I liked it and I’m no woodhead.
