A very good friend visits Copenhagen monthly on business and stays at Hotel SKT. It is well located and reasonable for the standard.
We stayed at the Hotel at Six in Stockholm. Odd name, but perfectly good. https://hotelatsix.com/
In Copenhagen, if you’re open to an apartment, we stayed here and thought it was excellent. Spacious, comfortable, good location. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/33160867?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=6158f1d1-6c06-4792-98d2-2cd8232543d9
Thanks all! Your responses are super helpful.
Thanks to all here. I am going to Norway for the Northern Llghts in January but spending the first few days of February in Copenhagen. I know it will be cold so food and wine are critical!
Heading over in late October. No 30 looks awesome, but the menu seems really small and we are with a varied group who could be a bit picky about food. Thoughts about this?
Small place with a menu changing based on the ingredients at hand (they even have a small farm where they grow their own stuff). So it is probably limited how much they can change.
What type of food would be expected by the group?
Small sample size, but our one meal at no. 30 was underwhelming - cute place, fun list, but small menu as noted - so there are probably better options out there.
My daughter is studying abroad in Stockholm, and had a class trip to Copenhagen. She’s not a super foodie, so I was floored when she texted me a pic of her lunch at Cafe Wilder. She loved it!
For me the food is fine. Simple and cheap.
But i certainly go there for the wine and atmosphere, and not so much the food.

Might I suggest Frank?

More classic, but good food and the wine list is one of the best in Copenhagen:
