CLOSEOUT CERITAS DEAL: Half Off Cabernet + Pinot & Chardonnay SALE US LOW

‘Costalina’ Pinot Noir 2023 95pts
‘Marena’ Chardonnay 2023 95pts
‘Colima’ Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 94pts

Well, the wine slow down has its benefits! Most of the time the wines we are offered on deep sale are not anything we’d think you or we would find of interest. NOT TODAY and we are CRUSHING the US LOW Prices!

For as long as I can remember, these wines have been my go to for Burgundy inspired Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from California. The Cabernet is old school Cali Cab at its finest (like Ridge)! Back when they started no one was making wines like this, few today come close! The wines mostly go misunderstood in my experience as the wines need some time to come into their own, well at least the single vineyard wines do. However, today’s wines are the blends of those single vineyard wines, comprising of multiple sites and made in a style that you can drink now or still be rewarded with some patience if you can keep your hands off of them! The Pinot and chardonnay both nabbed a whopping 95 points and the Cabernet a fabulous 94 points. In the link you will see a couple of those single vineyards at the best price in the USA that also scored 97 and 100 points !
The Cabernet**, more Santa Cruz / old-school California** energy than Napa opulence and is a deal if you like producers like Ridge, Corison, or Mayacamas stylistically!

The bright silver straw-colored 2023 Chardonnay Marena is made from a blend of sites from the West Sonoma Coast. On the nose, it reveals notes of pear, Marcona almond, beeswax, and fresh flowers. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with an elegant, satin-like texture, and a long finish. It has more glycerin richness but has tremendous focus and detail. Drink now or over the coming 10 years. The team from Ceritas are continuing to push the bar steadily higher, never resting on their laurels. The 2023 range from them is not to be missed. - Reviewed By Audrey Frick
This is the Chardonnay equivalent of Costalina in intent, but with a noticeable step up in texture and seriousness—still a multi-site blend, yet more layered and complete. It sits right in the middle of the Ceritas Chardonnay range: approachable, but unmistakably high-end.

Marena is built from multiple top coastal sites, capturing the core Ceritas Chardonnay signature:
:backhand_index_pointing_right: Slow ripening → high natural acidity + precision
:backhand_index_pointing_right: Native fermentation, neutral oak, minimal intervention
:backhand_index_pointing_right: The goal: a complete, textural, coastal Chardonnay that balances richness with tension

Fermented with roughly 15% whole clusters, the 2023 Pinot Noir Costalina is a bright transparent red color and offers pure, approachable notes of wild strawberries and wild fresh herbs. It has a Grenache-like feel, with well-defined, ripe tannins and a floating feel on the finish. This is so pretty and approachable, with a lovely character. The team from Ceritas are continuing to push the bar steadily higher, never resting on their laurels. The 2023 range from them is not to be missed. - Reviewed By Audrey Frick

It’s essentially a “declassified grand cuvée” of coastal Pinot fruit. Costalina is not a single-vineyard wine—it’s a thoughtful blend of top Ceritas sites (Hellenthal, Elliott, Occidental, Porter-Bass), made in the same minimalist way as their vineyard bottlings but with a different goal:

:backhand_index_pointing_right: approachability over intensity
:backhand_index_pointing_right: purity over structure
:backhand_index_pointing_right: drinkability over ageability

From a blend of vineyards and a restaurant-only wine, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Colima is a youthful red color and has a lifted nose of ripe fruit and sweet spices. A fantastic wine in this vintage that’s more widely distributed, it has a lot to love, with great structure, a charming, pure, fruit-forward style, and notable purity. Drink this total charmer over the coming 12 years. Reviewed By: Audrey Frick

Our Tasting Note
A cerebral, finely tuned expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2022 Colima leans into restraint and structure over sheer power. Aromatically lifted, it opens with red and black currants, wild herbs, graphite, and a subtle floral edge. The palate is precise and linear, driven by fresh acidity and a mineral spine that recalls old-school California more than modern Napa richness. Tannins are finely etched, framing flavors of cassis, crushed rock, and savory spice without excess weight. There’s a quiet intensity here—elegant, balanced, and deeply expressive—rewarding attention rather than demanding it.

This is a serious Cabernet , more Santa Cruz / old-school California energy than Napa opulence and is a deal if you like producers like Ridge , Corison , or Mayacamas stylistically!

Inspired by the Louis Martini “California Mountain” wines of the ‘60s and ‘70s, Colima is sourced exclusively from the alpine regions of Northern California viticulture. Santa Cruz and Mt. Veeder all come together in a pure expression of the state. Colima represents everything we love about this noble grape, displaying the old-school profile that we have always sought to achieve.

Colima is the beginning of a new series of Cabernet Sauvignon from Ceritas. Next year, a collection of Vineyard-Designate wines will debut from the individual sites that make up the

Colima blend. All these wines show a classic, refined expression of Cabernet and yet clearly retain individual identities.

Great prices. I love their wines. I’d be all over this if I weren’t already stocked.
