Thanks Randy! lol…

Yay excited to try these! Wanted to let you know that I accidentally submitted my order yesterday prematurely! Should I resubmit my order or submit an additional request with the additional bottles?

Awesome, thank you! Just ordered  by the way, is there a tie-in to opera (from the title of this thread)? Wondering if I missed it!

I rent a winery space from two amazing opera singers so they sang some arias at my launch party… that is when I also insisted we pair the Pinot noir blanc with the fried pickles! Both were a big hit!

Guys so sorry for the delay in putting my notes up. Was such a crazy week at work. Had the pleasure of tasting these wines and happy to give the seal of approval for BD!

Gamay 23

Crunchy purple and blue fruit, florals, nice nose, smooth tannins, little bit of acidity. Little bit of loam. Pretty complex palate actually although very primary. 90ish

Opened on the palate tremendously with 1-2h. Doesn’t have the biggest structure or tannins but this is a lovely floral

22 WV PN

Earth and dark raspberries nose, little bit of stem. Palate came across a touch thin and slightly stemmy. Mostly tart cranberry and raspberry. Finish has good tannins and supple acidity to balance it. Medium light bodied. Pretty decent as appellation level with nice freshness. 90-91

Much much more fleshed out with 2h air

22 Cortell Rose PN

Very nice nose. Complex red fruit, freshly tilled earth. Palate has some richness and darker red berries to it. Maybe some deep cherry as well. Has a nice crunchy light feel. Supple tannins with good grip and solid acidity.

Clear step up in quality, probably 92+

22 Cortell Black bobcat

Very spicy nose. Crunchy deep fruit underneath. Palate is medium bodied with good depth of fruit and solid complexity. Nice long complex finish showing good fruit, herbal stem, fresh earth.

90-91ish, will certainly evolve well over time.

2h later, lots of structural complexity and lovely darker pinot fruit.

22 cortell PN EAH

Very nice nose. Elegant fruit, subtle spice, stem and earth. Palate is awesome. Complex red cranberry, bright cherry, subtle spice with earth undertone. Finish shows subtle grippy tannins and a floral note.

This was really good. 92ish. Wide open for business

Yes, I sent in a form for a case. :grinning:

Great thanks! if you like high elevation Pinot, you will love the Carlile’s! The Cortell Rose is also more feminine and fruity while the Bob Cat is darker with more spice and tannin. The Eola-Amity Hills AVA is a blend of the two. AND yes, we did see a rare black Bobcat at the site!!

I’m so excited to try the suite of 6 Pinots I purchased. I served the Black Bobcat at my last dinner party, and it was a huge success. Divine! Thank you.

Bang bang bang for the Bobcat!!! It is a very rocky site… I know as my crew was over there picking up rocks… picking up more rocks and more rocks… the Pinot noir clones are Wadenswil, 114 and 667 which had for a nice diversity of flavor and aromas.

Enjoy your set of all the Pinots released to date! Let me know what your favorites are…

Thanks,

Jessica

Photo of my Carlile’s Crest Vineyard with the “wagon wheel” tree… come up to Oregon for a vineyard tour to learn the history of the wagon wheel… the vines surrounding the tree are Chardonnay.
