Now in my Rieselglass:

Deep ruby red in color.
In the nose: Wowww, a very nice bouquet of Sun matured dark fruit with black berries and wild cherry, pepper, nicely integrated wood, tobacco, autumn forest.
In the mouth: powerful. Soft acidity, with existing but butter soft tannins. Huge concentration. Great long finish. Beautiful mature wine.
The interplay of fruit and tannins that are sooo mouth caressing and a super fruit-mineral-berry finish, and a snowflake of dark chocolate… gorgeous!!!
Now optimal mature 97 DSP
Hello Dick
I reviewed the 2004 Clos Mogador in 2007 for The Wine Advocate. We seem to be in close agreement regarding its merits except for one factor, its potential longevity. I bought a half-dozen with plans to wait a few more years to try the first. Maybe your note will provide the incentive for me to try one sooner.

Hello Jay,
Have always liked your tasting notes of Spanish wines, specially of the Priorat, I have learned a lot!!!

I think the 2004 is now at its peak, although he will still keep this level a few years, but better with some years in the cellar I don’t think so, but time will tell…
