Little more work to make, but worth it.

Convinced the dessert chef in my household to try this for Maureen’s (pre)birthday dinner last night and it was great! Due to a miscommunication at the host’s home, the gelato was stuck in the fridge and not the freezer for a while so it was served a bit soft but still quite delicious with a few raspberries and some hazelnut cookies (Brutti e Buoni that I had brought back from Milan and Hazelnut/espresso cookies made by said dessert chef).

I made a tub of it and it seems to hold up well in freezer as well. I pick at it every night just to make sure! No cream added but you would never know it.
Leftovers have been awesome!
