Hello Berserkers, my name is Bobby Moy and welcome to my ninth year of going crazy on Berserker Day!

I am the founder and winemaker at CHIRON (pronounced Shee-RHONE). Our first vintage was 2015 and your continued engagement with us through the years has contributed to our ongoing success. We are a small winery located in the Napa Valley that also makes three other labels: Brevity, Black Powder and Archival.

I am a Napa native that has worked all over the West Coast from Oregon all the way down and through the Central Coast of California. I moved back to Napa in 2013 and have since worked with Joel Aiken, Thomas Rivers Brown, Frederic Delivert, and Corey Beck. In addition to CHIRON, I am the winemaker for a few other wineries here in Napa Valley. CHIRON is my heart and soul, where I make about 1500 cases per year of 100% varietal and vineyard designate wines. I love all the wines I make, but I am particularly passionate about Grenache. I strive to foster what I feel is the best expression of the site; preferring native fermentations and highly integrated oak. I’m very excited to share these wines with you today!

Great value here. I bought the "Paint of Moonlight’ CS a few years ago and have enjoyed two of them, am waiting for the third. I am optimistic that the ‘Bolt’ will be cut from the same cloth, as it were.

In for the Black Powdrer Cab(bought it last year and a great QPR) and the Brevity Pinot. I bought the Bolt of Cloth Cab last year but that is still resting.

Thanks for the order, Tim! The “Bolt of Cloth” is a bit more lush than the “Paint of Moonlight”…due to the warmer 2022 vintage and it is more valley floor fruit, compared to the mountain tannins of POM. It’s drinking really great right now!

Thanks for coming back for another year Jason! I was going to offer the '22, but then I popped the '21 a couple weeks ago and it was just showing so well that I decided to run with that…I only have about 30 cases left of the '21 and 40 of the '22.

Sarah, I don’t see an archival order from you yet. The Archival checkout takes forever to process the order…sometimes over 20 seconds. You have to be patient after clicking the “purchase” button. Maybe that’s what happened?

Hey Bobby, looks like I had some order confirmation issues, I received an unsuccessful order confirmation email due to payment but on the actual order page it was referring to an address line issue. All of Bobby’s wines are great values, across the board (do not sleep on the Brevity wines, which are insane values). In for “Unfamiliar Truth,” Pinot Noir, Mountain Reserve. Zero hesitation, first buy of B-Day.
The Archival lineup? Different wines, same value. I was super happy to see he still has some BdB left, so I bulked up my stock of that along with several other wines.
Just do it.
