I like the low end, there is no doubt. But the stuff that runs $25-35 for example (CC and CCR) is noticeably better than the low end stuff. So I’d disagree with you friend.
With Chinati, I’m in the middle, like the Three Bears. Chianti is too soft, C.C. Riserva is too hard.There is (for me) a noticeable leap between the Chianti and the C. Classico. Not so much moving from there to the Riserva. The Chianti all too often I find lacking, while the Riserva is too often over-priced for a questionable quality-jump. Chianti Classico all the way. Excellent value for the price. I guess that means I partially disagree with both of you.
