I discussed this last night with my wife. We are both lawyers, not doctors, so what do we know, but we have both seen situations in which brain tumors, strokes and other medical problems led to irrational behavior and then death. It would be especially sad if it turns out that his reputation is tarnished because of medically-induced bad behavior and bad decisions on his part.

In the local news story last night, it was mentioned that people who were with him the day before (he was giving a talk out west somewhere) had commented that he didn’t seem right at the time even to the point that people had seen his hands shaking a bit. Wouldn’t be surprised if the condition had been worsening and either the condition or the medication treating it could have led to erratic behavior at times.
