Ironic timing for this thread. Let us hope that the area survives Florence. A friend had moved down there a few years ago. After several floods of her home, she plans to sell it during next spring…or whatever is left after Florence…and move back to Noo Yawk. Of course, Noo Yawk will eventually get walloped likewise.
