In for a great cause. Thanks for doing this, Joe.
We had another strong day yesterday, with third-timer @Jonathan_Jaggers back in the game and our returning 2022 champion @Scott_Wanamaker - he of the MacDonald bros dinner mentioned in post 1 - coming in strong. Welcome back, you two, and big thanks to all the other supporters!
Gonon is unlocked and a new champagne challenge is up in post 1. Let’s see if we can get some of the party people over in the awesome champagne thread on board!
Joe thanks for doing this again. Great cause I am delighted to support. My donation should come in soon!
Donation in. I love this thread every year!
Donation in.
Would you be so kind as to let me know if it showed up.
Donation in. Thanks for doing this Joe.
Anton, you are confirmed! Thank you!
Its time for a shoutout to the folks who are back for a third helping of raffle action: thank you @Jonathan_Jaggers @DaveStandridge @Scott_Watkins and @Scott_Wanamaker for sticking with us from the beginning!
Almost too many second-time donors to track and list, but I’ll give it a try: @Craig_G @Pasquale_A @TGigante @mike_basile @Chris_Seiber @K_N_Haque @JohnP @rgallagher @B_Beachy @Cris_Whetstone. Thank you all (and apologies to anyone who I’ve missed - haven’t gone through today’s donations yet!).
“One more thing” - we’ve got a new challenge up in post 1 (link).
Wow! Shoutout to @Alan_Rath for paying his last year’s winnings forward. What a fantastic community this can be!
I’m in! Great idea and of course tremendous generosity on your part.
Done
Thanks to all the new donors, including three-time players @Evan_K and @Ed_Steinway.
I’ve put a new bottle challenge up in post 1 (link).
Donation in, thread bumped
Thanks for putting on such a great raffle for an important cause!
Love this. Glad it was bumped back up. Donation in. Lets keep this threat at the top of the forum to get more folks in on this.
I’m in. My dad has been battling an undiagnosed “ALS-like” disease for a few years now. He’s been lucky where he has gotten some of his muscle mass and strength back and can walk semi-normal with leg braces.
But man, any neurological disease is brutal, especially ALS.
For anyone who wants a laugh - cue Michael Lehrer a comedian that had ALS who decided to end his battle last year and passed away happily.
Thank you for that post. Please let your father know that there is someone out here thinking about him.
Best regards to your dad, Kevin, from everyone here at WB. I hope the work we are supporting here can one day benefits folks like him. If there is a separate organization working on his condition, let us know and we can send some support their way as well.
We’ve got 47 contributors on the board now!!! Thanks to everyone who has been moving this along and a hat-tip to @Andrew_Demaree who is back for a third year.
We’ve hit the LdH target so I’ve put a new (barolo!) challenge up in post 1 (link).
Bump-in!
In again. Thanks for doing this.
Warren
