Unless something has changed since yesterday, the progress slider is definitely one:

So, the default theme has a progress slider on the right side that substitutes for having pages. Get off my lawn lacks that slider. I feel it’s pretty essential to the functionality of the new site though.

The intent with that theme was to look as identical to the old site as possible. If you want the fancy new stuff, use the fancy new stuff
