Champagne price increases

50% more than the comtes is widely available for makes no sense.

Champagne heads I’m thinking of going long for the first time in a long time. Are you guys backfilling or waiting on current release price depreciation? What’s looking juicy?

I’m buying all this knock down comtes. Only label that seems really to have sunk back to sensible price level.

Now 08 CdC is being offered at £133. I bought a few more cases last summer at £142 thinking it couldn’t get any lower.

excellent list.

I saw 2015 DP for £595 per six today, but there was a substantial minimum buy.

I was eyeing some in London but am too nervous about tariffs to make the purchase

More for the rest of us. UK retailers seem to have significantly less demand right now with the tariff threat as there have been more and more US buyers in recent years. I was surprised to get a great allocation of 23 H-N last week. I got full quantities of everything I asked for which has never happened before. I’m hoping to see some great deals soon if this continues.

2012 CdC Rose just released. Seems to be a pretty large scale release as I got many offers from everyone and their donkey with large quantities available. £130 per in the UK. Of course Crush comes through with a $230 offer.

Those 08s at 130 sterling look juicy. I just need to smuggle some in without paying the vig

Subjectively, it feels like I’m seeing prices flat to minor decreases and inventory not moving as fast.

£130 x 1.35 = $175
Potential tariff takes it to $193 - possibly higher.
Add $4/bottle for freight/logistics/NY taxes.

Price does not seem outrageous.

Not if they are paying retail prices. But wholesale is a lot less.

Drank the '08 CdC rosé this week and it was great, consistent with a bottle 3 months prior.

We may need a new thread Champagne Price Decreases. 08 Cristal down to $1700/6 pack, which is the lowest price I’ve seen since shortly after release.

Across the pond, I assume.

I’m mostly seeing price increases; for a small fraction of the bubbles I buy I am seeing prices holding steady. I have seen literally ZERO price decreases. I’m talking Envoyer, Lopa, and southern CA retail.

I recently ordered 2008 Bollinger LGA for $170.

Wow thats a great price

I should clarify: I am seeing no price decreases on Release Pricing.
