“Shoot, a fella could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff.”
My painful experience is 1996 Dom Perignon Oenotheque - found 2 bottles left behind in a distributors warehouse and bought both around end 2017 for a very good price. Kept waiting for a special occasion and decided to take one alongside some other bubbles and wine to a family New Years Eve dinner in 2022 at my in-laws. For some reason we never got round to the Dom…and then it disappeared. I thought I left it there but turned out that was not the case. Have been through my wine fridges twice since and can still only find 1 bottle…which I’m definitely having this year…at home!
Maybe you never got around to the DP, but someone did, lol.
There are 6 and 12 pack cardboard boxes for dom
That’s a rough one. I’m thinking of opening my only bottle for our 30th anniversary later this month.
Sometimes it works in your favor! I actually have eight more bottles of 2008 Taittinger Comtes Blanc de Blancs in the cellar than CellarTracker thinks I do.
