Cellar Moving Day : Inventory Strategy Help Request

Tomorrow I’ll be moving a little over 1,000 bottles from off site storage to my new cellar. Would like to take the opportunity to verify physical inventory versus cellar tracker inventory. Any suggestions on which method would be easier and faster between the following options?

  1. Organize CT inventory by alphabetical by producer
  2. Organize by Region
  3. Organize by Vintage
  4. Other suggestions?

Individual bottle view sorted by wine name. Scratch them off one at a time…

I would print them out. You wouldn’t want to scratch your computer screen. :wink:


More seriously Eric, when I printed a list of my wines, I was disappointed in the formatting. The font was small and there was a lot of white space. That part seemed to work better in CT Classic.

The printed winelist code is 100% identical between both sites…

Carlos, I’m sure you’ve already figured this out, but do the inventory as you place the bottles into your new racks and write down their new location at the same time. [cheers.gif]
