I had no familiarity with this producer and no awareness of its connection to Ace Of Spades. Very upscale packaging which would not be of any significance to me unless it was going to be a gift. It’s made with 3 specific vintages as is LP’s Grand Siecle. At over a c-note, the only reason that I took a flyer on this unknown was because of the strength of the vintages which were: 2008, 2009, and 2012. As I drank it I vascilated between being underwhelmed and marginally impressed. In the final analysis, I came to the conclusion that I would be happy drinking this at half of the price but not at the price for which it sells.
