Is anyone else doing the double dip of Carlisle/Bedrock Dec. 6th pick-up?

I am hoping to make it to at least the Carlisle.

Siduri open house is the same day as well as a wonderful Rex Benefit at the Fillmore that evening. Of course it is hard to control myself and not try and fit it all in!

Is it Novy, too?

Yes indeed. Both Siduri and Novy. From 9am to 4pm. We will be pouring a slew of wines.

Is the Bedrock pick up like an open house? Do they pour anything or is it purely a pick up? If it is more of an open house, I’ll definitely stop in even though our order will be shipped.

My wife and I are going to be in the area from Texas and when we knew the Siduri open house was while we were there, that pretty much determined the key event of Saturday on this trip. We would have stopped anyway as we always do, but we couldn’t pass up the 20th anniversary blowout.

Monte, Morgan typically pours a few wines and it’s a fun time. Be advised that Bedrock and Siduri are at least 45 minutes apart.

I went to the last Bedrock pickup and Morgan was pouring 4 wines. Most people were picking up but there were several people who happened to be in town and had their wine shipped and one guy said he just buys what he can at retail. No one seemed to have a problem with them being there but maybe Morgan or Chris can clarify.

Morgan had 1 open house pick-up, Spring of 2011, and it was a complete zoo. Ever since he has only sent the notice to people who choose to pick up.

I know the two places aren’t exactly neighbors. Since I’m out of space before we even start the trip, I’m trying to figure out some way not to go crazy buying more. So far my only visits are to wineries we make significant purchases from. I’m sure I will add a few that I am interested in exploring.

They put the pick up date and times in the last mailer. I have an email in to Morgan and Chris to clarify.

I am hoping to make it to now Carlisle, Bedrock and Siduri! I think I missed out on buying from Bedrock but I have an email into them. I am hoping to triple dip!
