Yes, it’s true! Cam is back! As posted by the WSJ today, Cameron started a new company, The Negociant by Cameron Hughes.

Tougher market but I think he will do well. dN does not offer much value in my opinion but you are seeing more going direct to consumer so he will be going up against discounted branded wines. He can find a niche somewhere in there.
As soon as I saw this mentioned in one of the De Negoce threads at shortly after 8 CDT this morning, I went to the site and signed up as a founding member. I was #34 so based on Matt’s 2 scenarios, Cam is well on the way on scenario 2

One of our local wine shops (Frederick, MD) has CH wines at retail. I took a flyer on a $23 bottle of Napa Valley Bland de Blanc. Who might have made this?m Any guesses?
