Cam X Wine Company

I’m pretty comfortable with this guess.

Not going to lie. Me using Ai to decipher wine mysteries has led me to really scrutinize it when asking other things. Blows my mind when people use it without reviewing it…

Goes without saying, it’s not useless but it’s wrong as much if not more than it is right and you should check its work.

Seems like wording was changed:

WINE FUTURE BOTTLING MAY 12 2026

Another spectacular Napa Valley Cabernet Franc!

Sourced from a $100+/bottle Oak Knoll estate program, the production of this incredibly well-built Cabernet Franc is overseen by the child of two of Napa Valley’s pioneering and, by all means, legendary winemakers. This winemaker clearly knows what they’re doing and Lot 78 is a purpose-built, flagship “hommage” bottling and no-expense-spared production that sees 50% to 60% new French oak of the finest cooperage. The only reason we are getting our hands on it is because the winery, like so many others, is simply right-sizing their inventory.

Lot 78 2024 Napa Valley Cabernet Franc is grown on an estate vineyard in Oak Knoll but, separate from the main estate on the east side, is in the much preferred gravelly west side alluvials at the base of Mount Veeder. Chalk full of ripe power but also produced with tremendous precision, this is a potent-yet-beautifully-balanced and complex Cab Franc!

It’s an absolute steal at $169/case! Only ~155 cases will be produced so secure your case today…you will not regret it…fantastic stuff!

I’d say that is Cam thinking “oh crap this was too obvious” and taking out the clear hint. He did that with one of the early fight club releases where the blurb only left one option.

I bought just a sixer. Absolutely need no more wine for years - but a probably very good cab franc on the cheap is hard to ignore.

Lot 73 has to manily be Cuvasion Kite Tail right? Orange blossom and sea breeze big clues there.

The rest maybe Beringer Luminus Oak Knoll?

Easy pass on the Frankenwine for me.

I appreciate the exciting return of today’s Tranche I offerings, but wasn’t the Lot 49 | 2023 Carneros Napa Valley Cabernet Franc, which I originally got priced at $149 Tranche I shipped pricing, rather than today’s display of $199? The same for the Lot 51 | 2023 Napa Carneros Merlot at $199 rather than the displayed $249?

// Just received an email from ‘Lisa’ which stated: Thank you for your message. I will escalate your question about the Tranche One pricing for Lots 49 and 51 to the appropriate team, who will review the details and get back to you with further information.

Quick response from the Cam X support team: SORRY FOLKS, LOTS 49 AND 51 LINKS WERE SHOWING TRANCHE TWO PRICING I HAVE NOW CORRECTED BOTH TO REFLECT THE T1 PRICE!!! WE WILL AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST ALL PURCHASES MADE TODAY TO REFLECT THE CORRECT PRICING

That’s my recollection (and receipt) as well — Cam may have some explaining to do…

California friends came to South Carolina for an International Magnolia Society conference and stayed six extended days. Just long enough for them to help us consume enough bottles and to make room in the cellar closet to take advantage of Cameron’s Tranche One Special. Picked up six bottles of each: Lot 45 Napa Cab Franc and Lot 51 Napa Merlot. Thanks.

Seems that lot 53 was showing tranche 2 ($169) vs tranche 1 ($149) also. Waiting for “Lisa” and cam team to get back to me

After checking my notes, you are absolutely correct on that $149, not $169, original Tranche One Lot 53 | 2024 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon selection also which I missed since I was not considering that at the time. Thanks for double checking.

That’s the one lot I left as an open tab. It’s sibling, lot 37, was $149. So $20 more and $20 in shipping had me hesitating. When one has too much wine, any excuse not to buy is valuable.

I just got an email from Cam X support asking me to verify possible other original Tranche One offer pricing mistakes and I submitted Lot 53 Alexander Valley 2024 Cab Sauv. Maybe only a $20 lowered special price update. // And now, ~ poof, Cameron’s Tranche One Special is no longer available. It was nice to fill in a couple wines at the time.

Strange they would need you to confirm. It was the 1/27/26 email from CamX that included, "Folks, if big, bold, rich and ripe Cab is your thing, then I cannot recommend Lot 53 Cabernet Sauvignon enough. It is extremely well made, incredibly enjoyable even now with all the stuffing and structure to age another decade in your cellar and is indeed an incredible value at $149/case!

Click the link above for tasting notes and more! Only 125 cases available so get your giddyup goin’ on!"
