Hi Brian – I tagged it to go out on 11/13. The other orders have yet to ship yet either but likely to go out soon…replenishing inventory at fulfillment this week.

day1 night and 2 are meh…
day 3 really shine, not that much changed on day4 morning, as I finished whole bottle by the day4 lunch.

I love / hate this site. Yet another winery that I’m not familiar with where I’m like, mmmm, sounds goooooood. In for 6 to check them out. :stuck_out_tongue:

What lot(s) did you order?

Wait, I’m worse than I thought. In for 6 bedrock.

In for 15 camx - 12 bottle red sampler (13, 16, 21, 22, 27, 29) and a 3 pack of 38.

Can’t even keep things straight. Also have a ups notice for a shipment for this week that I don’t know where it’s from. Y’all are bad influences.

Is the fermented grape juice aware of what the label on the outside says?

  1. We just don’t know how these wines will age, but we can infer based on dN wines (which I admittedly have no experience with)
  2. My personal view of the three wines Cam X wines I’ve tasted so far is high quality, but young and needs time in bottle.

A just for grins comparison, I noticed some vague similarities?

X-Lot 21 2023 Napa Valley Cabernet Franc
100% single vineyard 75% Cabernet Franc, 25% Merlot
~70% new French oak 15% alc.

dN-Lot 401 | 2021 Napa Valley Proprietary Red Wine
100% New French oak 60% Cab Franc, 40% Merlot 100% Single-vineyard source 15.2% alc.

FYI, Lot 21 is half the cost. :grinning:

They are nothing alike. I have and have had a lot of 401. It’s serious boom boom wine. Rich as hell and also structured. 21 is way more elegant and closer to a classic right bank wine.

Good to know. First time it was an early accidental opening. So I should try my second 401 pretty soon? Decant??

I’ve had two 401s. The first was a few months after delivery and it was great. You could tell the blend hadnt come together but the components popped. Opened one November 2024 and it was dumb.

Thanks much- appreciate it. Realize all the orders are mixed cases so I imagine they take a bit longer to assemble.

Had one a few weeks ago. It was bananas good.

All the good notes about the Lot 22 Malbec made me go in for a 6 pack while adding 6 more of lot 27 that I really enjoyed.

I grabbed a case of lot 22 malbec last night also. Its probably the highest acclaimed wine to date alongside 4 and 25? Missed the boat on 39 so why not.

Well, UPS delivered my case of 32 to the wrong address. Someone signed for it. Waiting to hear from Cam X support before filing a claim.

I had a different problem. I elected to have everything delivered to a UPS pick-up location. Unfortunately they used the pick-up location as my personal address on the package so it didn’t match my license. Further, when splitting up my orders in to multiple packages and didn’t send me all the tracking ids. Could not locate them on the emails or on the site. Each only had a single id associated with a purchase. In order to get a package without the address on my license, I needed to have each and every tracking id on each package so they can verify it’s mine. Supposedly it’s a big deal. Someone at the location showed mercy after persistence and showing that it did have my cell number on the label. Usually not good enough but combined with a unique name, he said to tell them to not do that.

I prefer pick-up locations but not if it’s pulling teeth.

Thank you @Cameron_Hughes

18.5 cases today after 6 last week.
That’s almost 1000lbs I’ve got to lug into the basement
I’m all caught up except for a few cases that haven’t been bottled yet.
